my name is alisa zusin

i am a native New Yorker located in Brooklyn and Long Island. I am the first generation of born and raised American in my family. My family is Uzbek, and you can find ties to my culture in (almost) all my work! I am the founder and creator of Generational Canvas, a non-profit organization for teens all over New York City to be able to earn service hours making art. Teens come into nursing homes to paint portraits of the local elderly, creating bridges between generations through the best form of communication- ART!  I attend Pratt Institute, graduate class of 2029. My work is primarily in large scale, varying different mediums such as clay and paints. All works are for sale. Email for prices, or commissions.
